The year 7 course begins with an introduction of what history is, followed by an in-depth study of the Romans, which provides a European theme. The course then moves on to cover the Norman Conquest and aspects of Medieval life using a variety of source material.
Year 8 study the Tudor and Stuart Era from 1485 to 1750 with the native peoples of America providing a global element to the course.
The year 9 course covers in-depth study of the Black African peoples of America, and then moves onto the theme of war.
