Examination Results 2009
GCSE
The usual measure for comparing GCSE results is the percentage of pupils achieving 5 subjects with grades A* to C. An additional measure is to include Maths and English in the 5 subjects. Our results for 2009 are as follows:
Pass rate: 100%
Pupils who received all A*-C grades: 81%
Pupils who received 5A* - C grades: 81%
Pupils who received 5A* - C grades including Maths and English: 77%
Nationally:
Pass rate: 98.6%
21% of exams were awarded an A*/A grade
67% of exams were awarded an A*-C grade
GCE Advanced Level
All GCE, subjects are graded A E and the percentage achieved is a measure of a school's success. In 2009, 11 out of the 13 subjects taken receiving a 100% pass rate.
