A warm welcome to the PTA webpage which has been put together to provide everyone with easy access to information about your PTA. This page will always contain news of recent events, how the PTA is helping to support your children and details of forthcoming events.
The PTA aims to provide opportunities for parents and staff to meet and socialise with one another in a relaxed, friendly and enjoyable setting. Busy lives and often distant homes can sometimes make it difficult to get fully involved with the social side of school life, especially for new parents. Our hope is that by extending our very friendly and informal PTA, becoming involved will be that much easier and more rewarding for everyone.
Each of our events has a fund raising element through which the PTA is able to make donations to local and national charities as well as supporting special projects within the school that provide immediate benefit to the pupils.
The Committee of the PTA is open to any parent who is willing and able to give what time they can to organise the events throughout the year. We meet a couple of times each term to plan and organise events. Head Teacher, Mrs Reynolds, attends the meetings and provides a good link with the school staff.
