28/05/2010

Forms 3 and 4 enjoyed a residential visit to Hebden Hey on 24th and 25th May.
Here are some quotes from the children about how much they enjoyed it!

"On Monday morning 24th May, I set off in a happy mood because Form 3 and Form 4 were going to Hebden Hey” Ella-Mia Hendry

“The first place we went to was Gibson Mill.  We were told that 9 year old children had to work there. We did a hunt in the woods. I liked going over the stepping stones the most.” Nichola Backhouse

“After a great meal at A.J.’s , we had a talent show.  Granny Veg was my favourite act.”
Maddy Darby

“ I liked the chocolate cake with the brown and white buttons.  I liked the hot chocolate.  I drank it all.”  Reon Todd

“The next day time flew at Flying Saucers! We got to paint our own pottery.”  Harry Barraclough

“We had a treasure hunt in Hebden Bridge and ate near the park. At the end we went to the traditional sweet shop (It was fab!!!) I couldn’t believe my eyes when it was over.”
Isabelle Williams

"When we got back to school everybody was waving at us. It was amazing. I want to thank the teachers.” Jack Beattie

A poem by Sophie Noble:

“The best. The best!
We want to go again. Again. Again
The trip to Hebden Hey. Hooray. Hooray
For all the games and fun. Fun. Fun
Enjoyed by everyone!”  Sophie Noble
