Our Senior School curriculum provides a fully rounded academic education which provides for the needs and interests of all our pupils. The curriculum is reviewed annually to ensure that we keep up-to-date with National trends whilst ensuring that traditional excellence is not comprised.

In Years 7-8 all pupils study a wide range of subjects including Art, Design Technology (Resistant Materials), Drama (Years 8), English, French, Geography, German, History, ICT, Mathematics, PE and Games, PSHE, Religious Studies and Science.

In years 9,10 and 11 pupils will study the core subjects of English (Language and Literature), Mathematics, ICT (functional skills qualification) and at least one Science.  In addition to these core subjects pupils choose up to five optional subjects . Our current list of optional subjects includes Art, Business Studies, Design Technology (Resistant Materials), French, Geography, German, History, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sports Studies and Performing Arts. Pupils also study PHSE to enhance their education as well as continuing with PE and Games. Each Year our options package is tailored to the individual pupils to ensure success.
