Hipperholme Grammar School has been asked to participate in an online educational event happening next week. The world of work is an aspect of life and learning that we put a lot of thought and consideration into at HGS. This is a great opportunity to further the knowledge of our pupils in a vital element of their lives. Craig Whittaker’s A-Z Careers Fair will be a valuable opportunity to find out more about the working lives of different professionals and discover more about their learning journeys. “Choosing your future career is an exciting time for you. To help you, Craig Whittaker MP has organised a virtual ‘A-Z Careers Fair’ for our students on the 13th October.
At this event, you can meet a variety of professionals and find out more about their jobs. There will be a professional attending from a job for each letter of the alphabet.
You’ll be able to meet architects, lawyers, bankers and many more. There are also professionals attending from active graduate recruiters such as Lloyds, Amazon and Google. This could be your chance to get your foot in the door and make a contact.
This is a great opportunity for you, and we encourage you to take advantage of the event.”
