We truly believe that the best way to learn about life at Hipperholme Grammar is to visit us! We have lots of opportunities from our October Open Evening to our monthly Open Mornings and also personal tours.
During your tour you will see our classrooms and facilities in action, talk with our pupils and teachers and meet with our Head of Juniors or Head of Foundation. The admissions team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. See how we nurture and inspire our children to achieve their potential and exceed their expectations.
We hold our Open mornings on one Tuesday of every month during term time. Guided by our very knowledgeable Year 6 and Year 7 pupils, these sessions are the best way to see the school in action on a normal school day.
Our Open Mornings are an excellent opportunity to see our classrooms and facilities in action, guided by our knowledgeable Year 6 and Year 7 pupils. During your tour, you’ll also have the chance to meet our Head of the Foundation, Mr Bostwick, or our Head of Juniors, Mrs Weller, along with our wonderful teaching staff. These events take place on a Tuesday each month during term time.

Our annual Open Evening will be held on Wednesday 7th October 2026. It is always a fun and informative evening where you and your child can join in with activities in each subject department or classroom, speak with teachers and your pupil tour guides and listen to the Head of Foundation’s talk. We would suggest that attending our Open Evening and an Open Morning will give you the most thorough overview of our school.
Timings for the evening:
Pre-school & Juniors – 4:30 – 6pm
Seniors – 6 – 8pm
If you are unable to attend one of our Open Events we warmly invite you to a personal tour. Our personal tours are particularly useful for families looking for a mid-year transfer.
